(Bill) Mind Over Matter

BillMinder (US$0.99), is an application designed by return7. BillMinder has been created to help anyone and everyone who wants be able to organise their bills and repayments a little (or a lot) better. BillMinder is packed full of useful features, which make it extremely effective. BillMinder allows you, the app user, to create your own accounts and categories, which specific bills will be placed in.

BillMinder allows you make your own bills and name them whatever you would like, as well as giving you the option of categorizing them in any way you choose as well. For example, if you wanted to make a reminder for a particular bill, all you need to do is go to the main page, tap the "plus" icon on the top right hand corner of the screen and put in some basic information about the bill in question (the name of the bill and how much needs to be paid).

BillMinder provides a feature which allows the user to set the time period of the bill (if it is a recurring bill). This means that if you have a weekly or monthly bill, you do not need to re-enter the bill information every week or month, it will come up automatically to whatever time period is set on each bill. The user has the opportunity to set recurring time peroids from one day to an infinite amount of years (and everything in between). This feature is a great time saver and really makes this app easy to use.

During the first few uses of the app, the layout seems cluttered and it is difficult to fully comprehend the application. This problem quickly fades into oblivion as all the functions that previously seemed to clutter the screen are in full use. These many functions (and customizable options) each have their own specific purpose and serve that purpose perfectly.

From the customizable icons, to the automatic display of the total cost of all bills in each month and the Push Notification feature (it automatically notifies the user when bills are due, even when the app is not in use), BillMinder has made keeping track of those pesky bills a cinch (too bad they can't pay them for you as well). This application has perfected bill organization and I think it is great!
